1. Strawberry socks.

Knitting pattern: 2 x 2 rib

Striped stockinette stitch - 4 rows of red and 4 rows of white.

Description:

Cast on 52 loops on circular knitting needles (for Novita 7 Veljest yarn - 20 rows of stockinette stitch equals 10 cm) and knit with a 35 cm elastic band. Reduce the number of loops to 44. Start making the toe part as usual, using stocking stitch, red and white stripes. Having knitted 4 strips, start knitting the heel. Knit as usual to the place where the little finger grows.

Right foot sock:

For the little finger, knit a cover of 10 loops with three knitting needles with white yarn 12 rows long, leave the rest of the knitting to wait its turn. If the cover is 2.5 cm long, reduce the number of loops to 3. Close the loops and finish knitting.

On the remaining loops, knit 2 rows, having previously dialed 3 additional rows from the base of the little finger. loops, then make a cap for the next finger, the same as for the little finger, but from 14 loops.

Again, cast on an additional 3 loops from the base of the newly knitted cover and knit 2 rows on all loops in a circle. Make a cover for the third finger from 14 loops, 3 cm long.

Thumb: On the remaining stitches (there should be 15), continue knitting by casting on 2 additional loops at the base of the cap of the previous finger. Knit 3.5 cm, reduce stitches to 3 and bind off.

Decor:

For strawberries, cast on 15 loops on circular knitting needles and knit 3 cm in stocking stitch. After this, decrease the loops, knitting * 1 loop in stocking stitch, 2 loops together in stocking stitch. Knit * until there are 3 stitches left on the needles. Finish knitting.

Attach the strawberry by putting it on thumb and stuffed with cotton wool or scraps of red yarn. Using yellow thread, embroider dashes on the strawberry in two folds. Then crochet a chain of 9 loops with green yarn, knit leaves (3-5), attach them to the base of the strawberry.

To make small strawberries - cast on 10 loops on circular knitting needles and knit 5 rows, then knit 2 loops together until 3 loops remain, bind off the loops. Pull the strawberry at the base, filling it with cotton wool. Embroider the lines with yellow yarn. Make 2 more of the same strawberries. For the stem, cast on 3 stitches on circular needles and knit 25 cm in stockinette stitch. Crochet leaves and a flower from yellow/white yarn. Design the sock as shown in the photo.

2. Dog socks.

Yarn: Novita 7 Veljest (black) and Novita Tango (black, brown)

Cast on 52 loops with black Tango yarn (fluffy), knit 2 rows in stockinette stitch on circular needles. Change the yarn to brown and knit 4 rows with it.

Switch to thinner knitting needles and knit with yarn 7 Veljest 30 cm with an elastic band 1 by 1.

Change the knitting needles again - to thicker ones and knit with brown shaggy yarn and smooth black yarn together in the same way as regular socks are knitted - heel, etc.

Decor:

Cast on 26 loops with brown shaggy yarn, knit like this: 11 loops brown, 1 loop in black (shaggy yarn), 10 loops in brown. Knit 11 rows like this. Next, knit another 18 rows with brown shaggy yarn. Bind off the middle 6 loops, and the outer 10 loops on both sides will be ears. Knit 10 rows + 1 row on one side with black shaggy yarn, bind off the loops. The same goes for the second ear. Sew the finished part to the front of the sock, place a little cotton wool between the part and the sock. Attach the nose and eyes (available at craft stores)

Using brown shag yarn, cast on 12 stitches on circular needles and knit in 24 cm stockinette stitch.

Close the loops. Insert a bent wire into the tail, secure and sew up the ends. Attach one end of the ponytail to the upper edge of the heel, knit a bow from red yarn - 12 loops, garter stitch 1 cm, then like this - 2 garter stitches, 8 stocking stitches, 2 garter stitch. When the length of the part is 6 cm, switch to garter stitch and knit 1 cm, bind off the loops. Sew the second end of the tail to the front surface of the sock shaft, attach a bow.

3. Lamb socks

First knit a regular sock of the desired length and decorate according to the following instructions:

Make wool by sewing white wool in two folds. Start at the bottom edge of the sock shaft. Fasten the thread to the sock, use the front side, for example. Pencil - loop the thread over it, wind it and then secure it with two stitches on the knitted fabric of the sock. The length of one loop is about 3-4 cm. Make such loops around the entire surface of the top of the sock. So make 2 circular rows, and then cover only the front surface of the boot with loops. Make the top row along the entire upper surface of the boot. Embroider the lamb's eyes with black thread and the pupils with blue thread. There are a couple of white dots on the pupils, as if reflecting light. Make eyelashes from beige yarn in one ply in the same way as you did the lamb's wool. Embroider the mouth with black thread, and then take a hook and tie a chain for the ears using three loops. Knit, turning over and adding one stitch per row until there are 9 stitches in the row. Knit two rows of 9 loops, and then decrease one loop per row until there are again 3 loops left. Connect the row together in a ring and finish knitting. Also tie the second ear. Attach the ears to the “head”.

For the legs, cast on 12 stitches on circular sock needles and knit in the round in 14 cm stockinette stitch, cast off the stitches. Make 3 more such legs and attach them as shown in the picture.

Friends, we continue the theme of berry patterns. Today I will tell you how to knit a rather beautiful embossed pattern with knitting needles called strawberry, strawberry or strawberry glade, which is perfect for children's things (by the way, for adults too).

The pattern initially had no name. I just came across a picture on the Internet with a photograph of a sample and a knitting pattern for it. I liked the appearance of the sample, but there was clearly something wrong with the pattern (or in my head)... No matter how many times I tried to knit this relief pattern with knitting needles according to the proposed pattern , and this way, and that way, and awry - it didn’t work out...

Or rather, it worked out... Anything worked out, just not the relief pattern shown in the picture...

In short, I scoured the entire internet looking for a way to knit this pattern and found a foreign video, watch it...

It was from this video that I was able to knit a pattern with knitting needles, which in its relief is very similar to strawberries.

The name strawberry meadow (strawberry, strawberry) was suggested by a participant blog groups in contact Elena Knyazeva, for which many thanks to her. Here's the story :)

Now about knitting technology... You watched the video, right?

It’s fun to knit abroad, isn’t it?

It is possible, of course, that someone here also knits loops in a similar way... But among my friends there are no such people.

I think that not all readers will understand how to knit this relief pattern with knitting needles even after watching a video on how to knit it.

Therefore, I suggest you read the description of knitting in Russian. (I won’t draw the diagram)

How to knit a relief pattern with knitting needles called strawberry meadow (strawberry, strawberry)

We will use the following techniques:

The “strawberry meadow” pattern is somewhat similar to the knitting pattern that you and I recently mastered, but it is not the same, the pattern is knitted differently.

Rapport is equal to: 4 (+2) loops and 8 rows.

First of all, we cast on the loops on the knitting needles. This can be done in any way convenient for you, for example.

The number of loops should be a multiple of 4 and add 2 loops (edge loops), for example, 28(/4)+2=30 loops.

1st row – edge loop (slip without knitting), *knit 3 from one loop (knit, yarn over, knit), knit the next 3 loops together, purl*, repeat ** until the end of the row, knit.

2nd row – edge stitch, over three loops knitted together in the bottom row, we knit a knit stitch, and over the knit stitches and yarn over – purl loops. So we continue the entire row - *Knit, 3 purl*, at the end of the row - knit.

Row 3 – edge stitch, knit 3, purl 1*, knit ** to the end of the row, knit the last stitch.

4th row – edge, *, purl, 3 knit*, ** to the end of the row, at the end there is a knit stitch.

Row 5 – edge stitch, * purl the loops together, knit three stitches from one loop (knit, yarn over, knit)*, ** knit to the end of the row, knit.

Row 6 - edge, * purl 3, knit * - to the end of the row, knit.

Row 7 – edge, *purl, knit 3*, **knit to the end of the row, knit.

Row 8 – edge, *knit 3, purl*, ** to the end, knit

Next, repeat rows 1-8 until the desired height of the sample.
As a result, we will get a pattern called “strawberry meadow”. In my opinion, it is cute and not at all difficult to knit...

I hope you can think of something to use it for :)

And I wish you a summer strawberry mood!

Thank you for your attention!

Liz Taylor's strawberry basket was created to decorate the window of her craft store. Great idea, and the strawberries look just like the real thing! Interesting idea for decoration or an original gift.

Note: all parts are knitted separately - strawberries, leaves, flowers and are collected at the end into a basket. The author of the basket, Liz Taylor, used separate descriptions from different authors and combined them in this wonderful basket. For knitting all the details, the yarn used and the knitting density do not matter. Only the size of the finished parts will depend on this.

Materials

Any medium thickness yarn can be used. Silk was used for the strawberry project.

Knitting needles 4 mm

Knitting density

22 stitches and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch using 4 mm needles.

The knitting density does not matter. The size of the flower depends on the number of loops. This is where you need to experiment.
