Patch note version 1.6 WoT.

CT1: List of changes in version 1.6 compared to 1.5.1

List of changes.

. 2 tasks have been changed to preserve the player's progress on them with a 1 to 1 conversion.
b) Rebalancing a number of tasks for self-propelled guns (for both campaigns).
. In the “Long-Awaited Reinforcements” campaign, 12 tasks for self-propelled guns have changed.
. In the “Second Front” campaign, 5 tasks for self-propelled guns have changed.

Changes in the appearance of equipment.
. Added an information page for some styles, where you can find a detailed and interesting description.
. Added new fonts for tactical numbers.
. The interface of decals and the way you interact with them have been significantly redesigned.
. New decals have been added: square and rectangular with different aspect ratios.
a) Square decals can be placed on the researchable technique VIII level, Tier VIII premium vehicles and Tier X tanks.
b) Rectangular decals can be placed on Tier VIII premium vehicles and Tier X tanks.
. Changed decal placement points. All previously placed decals will be removed and sent to the “Appearance” → “Decals” section.

Disables damage to allies.

Damage to allies from shots and rams has been disabled for all types of Random Battles, including General Battles.
. The sounds and effects of direct hits from allied vehicles have been reworked.
. The system of penalties for damaging and stunning allies has been reworked.
. The mechanism for interaction of high-explosive fragmentation shells of self-propelled guns with allied guns has been reworked.
. The Game Rules will be amended accordingly and will take effect after the release of this update.

Tank premium account.

The logic for calculating a controlled bonus to experience for tank premium has been reworked. Now additional experience will be awarded to the crew according to the same rules as it is awarded for a battle:
a) If the accelerated crew training checkbox is not turned on before the start of the battle (or is missing), then part of the experience goes to the crew, the rest is credited to the equipment.
b) If the accelerated crew training checkbox is enabled, then all experience is distributed among the crew.
. The conditions under which the bonus can be applied have been changed (all of the following must be met):
c) Last victorious battle on the selected vehicle.
d) This vehicle is in the Hangar (not sold, lease not completed, etc.)
e) The full crew on which this battle took place sits.
f) The current state of the accelerated crew training checkbox coincides with the state that was before the start of the battle.

On the Malinovka map, the detection point was balanced: trees that interfered with reconnaissance from the positions of the northern team were removed.

Changes to wheeled vehicles.

Engine mode settings have been optimized.
a) When switching driving modes, wheeled vehicles will no longer lose engine traction. This is especially true when switching the driving mode from maneuverable to high-speed. With this shift, there will no longer be any slowdown before acceleration. Now in such cases the car will simply begin to accelerate to a higher speed.
. When changing the driving modes of wheeled vehicles, the wheels now rise and fall more realistically.
. The motion physics settings have been optimized.
b) When wheeled vehicles collide with obstacles, in some cases it will become easier to regain control of the trajectory.
. Added the ability to switch the movement modes of wheeled vehicles during the pre-battle countdown. A similar feature will also become available for Swedish tank destroyers.

Interface changes.

Added the ability to disable the speedometer of wheeled vehicles through the game client settings. The indication of driving modes is duplicated on the damage panel.
. Added the ability to enable/disable the auto-aim marker for all types of vehicles through the game client settings (via the marker settings tab). The auto-aim marker can be turned on/off separately for the main and alternative marker modes. The setting applies to all vehicles, including wheeled ones (that is, the auto-aim marker for wheeled vehicles can be disabled in the same way).

This post will be updated as new information becomes available.

Over the past 10 days, the supertest has been replenished with many cars. And we clearly have something to tell you.

M4A2 Sherman Lozy

This medium tank famous for the fact that the crew of Hero fought on it Soviet Union Dmitry Fedorovich Loza.

As for the tank itself, it will be located at level 6 in the USSR branch and is premium. It has a weak power density, weak armor, mediocre penetration, but excellent damage per minute and good high explosives.

Detailed performance characteristics and appearance tank in front of you.

ELC EVEN 90

Have you ordered light tanks? Nevermind. In any case, a light French tank of tier 8 called ELC EVEN 90 was brought to the supertest (we bet that after ELC you immediately want to put “AMX”?). The tank will be premium and also drum-based.

The tank is extremely small in size, and its weight is simply ridiculous - only 6.7 tons!!! Since the sizes are tiny, the camouflage will be just perfect. But this does not mean that it is only for passive play. Huge maximum speed and decent power density are excellent companions for active gaming. It’s not a good idea to look for armor on a light tank.

Drum gun, 5 shells with damage of 240 units. Penetration is quite weak, but the drum reloads relatively quickly, and the shooting accuracy with aiming is good.

Caernarvon Action X

Already the third tank (and premium at the same time) to enter the supertest at this time was the Caernarvon Action X. It is British, like most, located at level 8, and belongs to the class of heavy tanks.

Almost 15 horses per ton indicate that the tank is quite mobile. But the maximum forward speed of 36 km/h is not at all pleasing.

The armor is quite strong in some places (this is the hull front and front of the turret), but not as invulnerable as we would like (the side and rear are very weak). And the gun? And the old gun is the same 230 damage with good damage and decent penetration, as well as excellent accuracy and fast aiming.

FV205

And another premium one... stop stop. This is not a new premium tank. This is a replacement for FV215b (183)! As previously happened with the Foch 155 and the FV215b, now this awaits the “booty” too!

FV215b (183) will be transferred to promotional status, that is, those who have it in their hangar at the time of the release of the fateful patch for this vehicle will still have it at their disposal.

Why do they change the "babaha"? The reason is clear even without official comments - the new tank destroyer will better match the gameplay of the entire game branch.

The FV205's structure, as well as its gaming style, is actually more similar to the entire first game branch of the British tank destroyers. I would say the main difference is the higher maximum speed and specific power (34 km/h with almost 15 horses per ton).

The vehicle has extremely strong frontal armor, because the thickest zones reach up to 305mm!! With the sides, everything is familiar, that is, sad and weak.

Such cars have never been distinguished by their agility. But the guns were always interesting. The gun has just crazy damage per minute (as much as 3700 units), with excellent accuracy of 0.29 at 100 meters and extremely fast aiming of 1.6 seconds.

Simply put, it has good penetration, excellent accuracy and stabilization, and high damage per minute with mediocre one-time damage.

Aufklarungspanzer V

The last one we have under consideration is the new (actually not) premium LT Aufklarungspanzer V. If anyone remembers, there was one like this before the LT at level 7 and had a rather funny nickname (I, of course, won’t write it).

What about performance characteristics? For a light tank there is armor that can deflect even large gun shells at sharp angles. Maximum speed and specific power are adequate, although not the most powerful.

The gun has good damage per minute, excellent accuracy and aiming. But the gun is wildly surprising with a completely different aspect. The tank has only one type of shells - armor-piercing shells with a penetration of 221mm and 135 units of damage. There is also complete order with the UVNs up and down.

As you can see, a lot happened in this short period new technology, though premium for the most part. We’ll see what and how will happen in the future :)

Have a great week everyone!

World of Tanks enCore is a demo program of the Core graphics engine, which will soon be used by the online tank action World of Tanks. By running World of Tanks enCore on your computer, you can get an idea of how productive World of Tanks with the Core engine will be on it.

Like the Core engine, World of Tanks enCore is completely developed inside Wargaming - by the World of Tanks PC team.

Core will greatly improve the appearance of World of Tanks. After the game is transferred to Core, almost all the contents of the maps - landscape, water, vegetation, lighting, shadows, clouds, buildings and other objects - will be replaced with new ones, developed from scratch.

The program offers a choice of three quality presets: “Minimal”, “Medium”, “Ultra”. These are World of Tanks graphic presets on the new Core engine, so their names (and number) differ from those familiar to players in the current World of Tanks client: “Minimum”, “Low”, “Medium”, “High” and “Maximum”. In some cases, World of Tanks enCore may recommend a lower level of graphics settings than what you are currently using in World of Tanks. (For example, you might be playing on Max right now and get a Medium enCore instead of an Ultra.)

Quality presets - “Minimum”, “Medium” and “Ultra” - differ in screen resolution and quality of textures, lighting, shadows, landscape, water, particles, etc. In all presets you can change the resolution, and the “Medium” and “Ultra” presets can be customized by such a parameter as anti-aliasing. A special gear icon will be displayed next to the parameter values that have been changed. When comparing the result shown by your computer in World of Tanks enCore with others, you should take into account the preset, as well as the set resolution and anti-aliasing.

No, the restriction on customizing presets applies only to enCore. World of Tanks offers the widest possible choice of graphic settings now and will continue to offer it in the future.

Most likely, either our enCore or your video driver crashed. Please contact support (https://ru.wargaming.net/support/).

First of all, don't panic. First download enCore and try all the settings. We pay a lot of attention to Core optimization - especially for low and medium performance machines.

You can focus on this result, but there will not be complete compliance.

Since the World of Tanks enCore program is not a benchmark, it evaluates computer performance in points. The scores adequately reflect the power of the computer and make it possible to compare your results with others. If your computer scores 10,000 points, this is an excellent result, meaning that the selected preset will not have any “lags” or sharp drops in FPS. A score of 8001 and above (“gold”) is excellent, 3001–8000 points (“silver”) is good, and up to 3000 points (“bronze”) is acceptable.

If you run World of Tanks enCore on a laptop with a discrete and integrated video card, the program will automatically launch on the discrete video card. If this does not happen, specify in the video card driver settings so that enCore runs using a discrete video card. If you are using a solution with multiple video cards (nVIDIA SLI, AMD CrossFire or similar), the program may not work correctly. World of Tanks enCore is optimized for the use of a single video card.

World of Tanks enCore supports Windows XP SP3/Vista/7/8/10.

The same as the main World of Tanks client. You can watch them on the official website of the game (https://worldoftanks.ru/ru/content/docs/download/).

Some antiviruses may block World of Tanks enCore.

The program may not have taken into account some processes that were running on your computer and consuming system resources. For this reason, we recommend that you refrain from watching videos, combat sessions in World of Tanks or other games, scanning your machine with an antivirus, and other processes that load the system. For users with laptops, we also recommend plugging them into a power outlet.

We will inform you about this later. The very appearance of World of Tanks enCore is a sign that the game will be transferred to Core soon.

The developers of World of tanks have announced which premium tanks will soon appear in the game. In WoT, first of all, there will be premium tanks of those classes that are not yet available for this and those nations, that is you can expect the appearance in World of tanks of a premium medium tank of the 7-8 level of the USSR, an American anti-tank self-propelled gun, a German ST of 8 level, an English heavy tank of the 8th level.

Panther Ausf F

Panther Ausf F is a modification of the German Panther tank, armed with an 8.8cm L/71 gun mounted in a Schmalturm turret.

Panther Ausf F in World of tanks

Panther Ausf F will become a premium tier 8 tank in World of tanks. In terms of characteristics in Wot, the Panther Ausf F will be in many ways similar to the non-premium Panther (in terms of speed, maneuverability, hull armor). However, on the upgraded Panther the best gun is the 7.5cm L/100, and on the Panther Ausf F the 8.8cm L/71 gun will be installed. Let's compare the characteristics of these weapons.

Thus, the new premium tank will receive a more powerful weapon than the Panther has.

Panther Ausf F can be called a transitional version from the first Panther to the second. The new Panther Ausf F tank received the hull and chassis from the first, and the turret and gun from the second.

M56 Scorpio in World of tanks

American tank destroyer M56 Scorpio will soon appear in World of tanks and will become a premium anti-tank self-propelled gun.

M56 self-propelled gun with an M54 90 mm gun mounted in an open wheelhouse. The M56 was equipped with a six-cylinder carburetor engine with a power of 165 hp, which allowed it to reach a speed of 45 km/h. The M56 Scorpion had a crew of four.

The developers plan to add a premium Soviet ST of the seventh or eighth level to the game. It was assumed that this tank could be the T-122-85 or T-44-122. These combat vehicles were tested, but were not suitable for the eighth level; their further fate is still unknown.

British FV215b will become premium

The British heavy tank FV215b will become premium. For the role of Britain's top tank, the World of tanks developers found a more suitable combat vehicle. And FV215b, which is a product of Wargaming Design Bureau, will be moved to the eighth level and will receive premium status. It is not yet known whether the premium FV215b will be given to players who have upgraded its researchable version.

Video about the T-28 Concept and other premium tanks

The T-28 Concept will be located on the seventh level. This fighting machine is a prototype of the American T-28 self-propelled gun. The T-28 Concept has a very unusual wheelhouse, in which the gun can be rotated at angles of more than 90 degrees.

The new T-28 Concept tank destroyer will combine the advantages of the T-28 and T-28 Prototype - powerful armor and a gun with good aiming angles.
