Operating conditions for MBS3000

Changing the flow rate of the working fluid in hydraulic systems, for example, when quickly closing valves or starting and stopping pumps, can cause cavitation, water hammer and sudden pressure surges. These phenomena can occur both at the inlet and outlet of the sensor, even at relatively low operating pressures.

MBS 3000 operating environment conditions.

The presence of contaminant particles in the working environment can lead to clogging of the nozzle opening. Installing the sensor in a strictly vertical position minimizes the risk of clogging. The viscosity of the working medium does not have a significant effect on the reaction time. Even with viscosities up to 100 cSt, the reaction time will not exceed 4 ms.
